Coaches Application
Please fill out this Coaching Application to express your interest in coaching one of the the Helena Bighorns teams for the 2025/26 season.
This application will allow you to share your experience, strengths, coaching philosophy and other pertinent details about yourself.
Those interested in a Division Head Coach role,
please have your applications submitted by July 31, 2025.
When
The season is October into March.
Head Coaches will be selected by the Board after tryouts in September.
Head Coaches will then select their Assistant Coaches.
Practices
Practice times and days will be set by the Board at a later date and vary depending on division.
Ages
6U - 2019 to 2021
8U - 2017 to 2018
10U - 2015 to 2016
12U - 2013 to 2014
14U - 2011 to 2012
14U Girls - 2011 to 2014
High School - 2006 to 2010
House Hockey - 2006 to 2016
Where
Practices will be held at Steed Arena in Helena, MT.
COACHING REQUIREMENTS
The above are required before stepping on the ice (with the exception of the CEP Clinics)
