HAYHA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
HAYHA Board of Directors
join the board
We are pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for open positions on the Helena Area Youth Hockey Association (HAYHA) Board of Directors. This is an exciting opportunity to support our athletes, influence the development of youth hockey in our community, and help guide the future of our growing organization.
Serving on the HAYHA Board is a meaningful way to make a positive impact. Board members play a vital role in shaping program improvements, supporting coaches and volunteers, strengthening organizational operations, and ensuring that our hockey community continues to thrive. Whether you have years of experience in youth sports or are simply passionate about helping young athletes grow, your voice and skills are welcome.
We encourage members from all backgrounds to apply—parents, former players, community supporters, and anyone who wants to contribute to a strong, inclusive, and successful youth hockey program. If you have a desire to serve, collaborate with others, and help us continue building a supportive hockey environment for all families, we invite you to submit your application.
There will be 6 open positions for the 2026/2027 Board: a Division Representative for 8u/6u, 10u/12u, 14u/HS, Girls/House, and two at-large openings.
Expected Time Commitment
Board members typically contribute an average of 3–5 hours per week. This includes attending monthly board meetings, participating in committee work, assisting with events, responding to board related emails (within 24 hours) and supporting ongoing program needs. Time commitments may increase slightly during peak season activities or special initiatives, depending on the position and organizational priorities.
